If you like liver this is a great way to serve it. We start by stir frying the liver with garlic, then mixing with a savoury sauce, along with shiitake mushrooms and leeks.
Its a very low cost meal as pork liver is usually very cheap, and once you have prepared and sliced up the ingredients, the cooking time is only around 5 minutes.

Cooking instructions
Step 1: Start by adding 3 tbsp of cooking oil to a wok and heat on a high heat. Once hot, fry 3 cloves of finely chopped garlic for about 30 seconds, then add in 200g of thinly sliced pork liver.
Step 2: Fry the liver for about half a minute, then season with 1/2 tbsp of fish sauce, 2 tbsp of oyster sauce, and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Mix the sauce in with the liver, then add 5 sliced shiitake mushrooms, and stir fry for another minute or so.
Step 3: Now add in 1 sliced leek, mix in with the liver, and add a dash of water. Stir fry for a final couple of minutes until the leek has softened, then serve with steamed rice!
