This is a simple stir fry consisting of shrimp and sprouts fried in a savoury sauce. I was a bit skeptical about trying this when cherry first made it, however boiling the sprouts first removed their bitter taste, and the final dish tasted very nice.
This recipe is great for a simple appetiser, or you could serve it with some steamed rice as a main meal. Very few ingredients are used and its very straightforward to make!

Cooking instructions
Step 1: Begin by bringing some water to the boil then add in 1 cup of brussels sprouts. Boil the sprouts for about 2 minutes, then drain and set aside. Doing this will remove the bitterness from their flavour.
Step 2: Now heat about 2 tbsp of cooking oil in a wok on a high heat, then add in 2 cloves of finely chopped garlic, and the sprouts that we just boiled.
Step 3: Stir fry the sprouts and garlic for about 1 to 2 minutes, then add in 1 cup of peeled shrimp. Fry until the shrimp is about half cooked, then add in 1 tbsp of fish sauce, 1 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar and 2 tbsp of oyster sauce.
Step 4: Keep stir frying for a final minute or two until the shrimp is cooked, then serve and enjoy!
