This recipe is a great way to spice up instant noodles on a budget. Sometimes you just need your noodle fix without too much fuss, so we decided to share a recipe that we sometimes use when we want noodles but are in a hurry!
This noodle salad can be made in less than 10 minutes, and you don’t need many hard to find ingredients. We didn’t spend much money either, yet the final result is still really tasty, which is the most important thing!

Step 1: Bring some water to the boil, then add 1/4 cup of sliced mushrooms. Cook them for about 2 minutes or so, and then scoop them out of the water and set aside.
Step 2: Next add in 1/2 cup of sliced frankfurter sausages and cook them for about 2 minutes or so just to heat them up, then set them aside with the mushrooms.
Step 3: Now add in 1 pack of instant noodles and cook. Once they are soft enough, scoop them out and set aside.
Step 4: Next heat about 1/4 cup of water until it simmers, then add in 1/2 cup of minced pork. We are just using enough water to cook the minced pork, so don’t add more than 1/4 cup of water. Once the pork is cooked, set it aside in a separate bowl from the mushrooms, sausage and noodles.
Step 5: Now take the bowl with the minced pork, and add in 1 1/2 tbsp of fish sauce, 1 1/2 tbsp of lime juice, 4 finely chopped bird eye chillies, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 tbsp of chilli paste and mix everything together thoroughly.
Step 6: Now take the bowl of noodles, mushrooms and sausage, and add in 1/4 cup of tomatoes, 1/4 cup of celery leaf, and 1/4 cup of sliced onions.
Step 7: Finally, pour the minced pork dressing over the noodle salad, mix everything together thoroughly, and then serve and enjoy!
And its as simple as that – a low cost budget noodle dish that is easy to make yet tastes really good!
