These chicken wings make for a great snack or party food. They are first coated in a tempura batter, then deep fried until crispy and golden brown. Finally they are coated in a 3 flavour sauce that is spicy, sour, and sweet.
This should make enough for about 3 to 4 portions, and the recipe should take around 30 minutes to prepare and cook.

Cooking instructions
Step 1: Start by adding 500g of chicken wings to a mixing bowl along with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper. Rub the pepper and salt in to the chicken wings, and let the marinate for 30 minutes.
Step 2: After 30 minutes, add in 1/4 cup of tempura flour and 3 tbsp of water and mix together thoroughly, making sure that all of the wings are coated in the batter.
Step 3: Then just deep fry the wings until golden brown, then set aside on some paper towel to absorb any excess oil.
Step 4: Now its time to make the sauce, so add 5 tbsp of ketchup, 3 tbsp of chilli sauce, 3 tbsp of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of ground pepper, and 1/4 cup of water to a wok, and heat on a high heat while stirring.
Step 5: Once the sauce begins to bubble, add in the fried chicken wings and briefly mix in so that the sauce covers the wings. Then add in 2 tbsp of sesame seed and mix in with the chicken. Finally just sprinkle on 2 tbsp of chopped spring onion, mix one last time, then serve and enjoy!
