This is a very simple but delicious Thai style dessert that consists of a sweet coconut syrup drizzled over grilled bananas. It is important to not use bananas that are too ripe as the texture will be too mushy. This is a really easy dessert that you can make with little effort and fuss, and there are only 5 ingredients involved.

Step 1: Begin by diagonally slicing 3 bananas. Make sure that you use bananas that are not too ripe or they will just be too mushy. The bananas we were used were yellow but with no browning of the skin. Grill the banana slices on a low heat for about 10 minutes on both sides, until they are golden brown and firm.

Step 2: Once the bananas are done, we just need to make the coconut syrup, so add 3/8 cup of coconut cream, 50g of palm sugar, 25 of sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to a saucepan, and heat and stir on a low heat until the sugar has dissolved in the coconut milk.

Step 3: Once the syrup is ready, simply pour it over the the grilled bananas and enjoy!
