These 2 sauces work perfectly when served with satay (Click to see our satay recipe). Usually the peanut sauce is only served with satay, however it can also be paired as a dip with other dishes if you wish! The cucumber relish is a fresh and flavourful crunchy dip that is so simple that it only takes a few minutes to make, and is ideal for use with any snack or dish that would be enhanced with the addition of a crunchy cooling relish.
These dips are super easy to make and a great way to add flavour to food!

Cooking instructions
Step 1: First we will make the peanut sauce. Add 1/2 teaspoon of red curry paste and 1/2 cup of coconut milk to a saucepan and heat on a medium heat, stirring until the curry paste has mixed with the coconut milk.
Step 2: Now add 2 tbsp of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 cup of ground peanut. Mix everything together thoroughly, and allow the sauce to bubble for a few minutes to help thicken up. Once it has a nice thick sauce consistency, serve!
Step 3: Add 60ml of white vinegar, and 60g of sugar to a saucepan, heat on a medium heat, and stir until the sugar has dissolved in the vinegar. pour the sauce into a container containing 1/4 cup of diced cucumber, 1/4 cup of diced red onion, and 1/2 large red chilli chopped and deseeded. Then serve!
